Transportation Network

A Cartesian Road System - The transportation network for the scheme constitutes multi-layered circulation grids that are superimposed and inextricably meshed to provide an organized and efficient community system.

The primary arterial road, which serves as the main thoroughfare into the site, intersects with the secondary axis at the commercial core and has compartmentalized the plan into four residential segments. From this axial / commercial nexus also diverges four diagonal tertiary vectors that give access to each quadrant.

All commercial axes are periodically intercepted by lateral extensions of residential streets that adapt to the gridiron format.
