The design takes into account the fact that, being a residential district, the distribution of pedestrian traffic In Golden Palms would have to be an integral constituent of circulation planning.
The scheme thereby incorporates a pedestrian network as an ancillary development of the vehicular circulation.
Spacious walkways are interlaced within the green open spaces that flank the primary, secondary and tertiary arterial avenues from where the pedestrian traffic is laterally dissipated to the residential street sections. All pre-ambulatory routes traversing the residential quadrants are designed to culminate in the focal voids that are to be articulated as open, recreational suburban piazzas.
